VetVantageMD Onboarding Guide for Doctors
Overview
This guide outlines the complete onboarding process for doctors using the VetVantageMD platform, including registration, credential verification, availability setup, and profile completion.
- Visit the VetVantageMD website or portal provided during recruitment.
- Ensure you’re on the doctor version, not the client-facing VetVantageMD app. It may be marked with a purple tab or another visual indicator.
Step 2: Start Registration
- Click Get Started.
- If you don't have an account, select Sign Up.
- Enter the following details:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Click Next.
- Choose either email or phone verification.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code.
- Once verified, proceed to password creation.
Step 4: Create Password
- Password requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 special character
- Confirm the password by entering it twice.
- Click Next.
Step 5: Provide Licensing Details
- Enter your NPI number (must be 10 digits).
- Input the following:
- State license number
- State of issuance
- Issue date (use the date picker)
- Add multiple licenses if applicable.
- Click Next.
- Enter your personal address.
- Enter your clinic address (or duplicate if the same).
- Click Next.
Step 7: Set Hours of Operation
- Input your weekly recurring availability.
- If unsure, enter general hours; the support team will confirm details during onboarding.
- Click Next.
Step 8: Select Medical Specialties (DBQs)
- Choose the DBQs (Disability Benefits Questionnaires) you are qualified to perform (e.g., cardiovascular, psychiatric).
- If you skip a specialty (e.g., gynecology), your profile won’t appear in searches requiring it.
- Use Select All if you’re qualified for all specialties.
- Click Next.
Step 9: Choose Evaluation Type
- Choose one of the following:
- In-person
- Telehealth
- Both
- Click Next.
Step 10: Upload Profile Photo
- Upload a professional photo from your device.
- Click Next.
Step 11: Add Digital Signature
- Use the on-screen signature pad to draw your signature.
- This will be used on DBQs and other official documentation.
- Click Next.
Step 12: Finalize Registration
- A confirmation screen will display your submission status.
- Your profile will be listed as Inactive until it is reviewed and verified.
- The VetVantage support team will reach out to complete your onboarding.
