VetVantageMD Onboarding Guide for Doctors

Overview

This guide outlines the complete onboarding process for doctors using the VetVantageMD platform, including registration, credential verification, availability setup, and profile completion.

Step 1: Access the Platform

  • Visit the VetVantageMD website or portal provided during recruitment.
  • Ensure you’re on the doctor version, not the client-facing VetVantageMD app. It may be marked with a purple tab or another visual indicator.

Step 2: Start Registration

  1. Click Get Started.
  2. If you don't have an account, select Sign Up.
  3. Enter the following details:
    1. Full name
    2. Email address
    3. Phone number
  4. Click Next.

Step 3: Verify Contact Information

  • Choose either email or phone verification.
  • Enter the 6-digit verification code.
  • Once verified, proceed to password creation.

Step 4: Create Password

  1. Password requirements:
    1. At least 8 characters
    2. At least 1 uppercase letter
    3. At least 1 special character
  2. Confirm the password by entering it twice.
  3. Click Next.

Step 5: Provide Licensing Details

  1. Enter your NPI number (must be 10 digits).
    1. Input the following:
    2. State license number
    3. State of issuance
    4. Issue date (use the date picker)
  2. Add multiple licenses if applicable.
  3. Click Next.

Step 6: Address Information

  1. Enter your personal address.
  2. Enter your clinic address (or duplicate if the same).
  3. Click Next.

Step 7: Set Hours of Operation

  1. Input your weekly recurring availability.
  2. If unsure, enter general hours; the support team will confirm details during onboarding.
  3. Click Next.

Step 8: Select Medical Specialties (DBQs)

  1. Choose the DBQs (Disability Benefits Questionnaires) you are qualified to perform (e.g., cardiovascular, psychiatric).
  2. If you skip a specialty (e.g., gynecology), your profile won’t appear in searches requiring it.
  3. Use Select All if you’re qualified for all specialties.
  4. Click Next.

Step 9: Choose Evaluation Type

  1. Choose one of the following:
    1. In-person
    2. Telehealth
    3. Both
  2. Click Next.

Step 10: Upload Profile Photo

  • Upload a professional photo from your device.
  • Click Next.

Step 11: Add Digital Signature

  • Use the on-screen signature pad to draw your signature.
  • This will be used on DBQs and other official documentation.
  • Click Next.

Step 12: Finalize Registration

  • A confirmation screen will display your submission status.
  • Your profile will be listed as Inactive until it is reviewed and verified.
  • The VetVantage support team will reach out to complete your onboarding.
