Accessing VetVantageMD

This article explains the primary sections of VetVantageMD and how each area supports your day-to-day provider workflow. Instead of walking through individual actions, it focuses on what each section is used for and how information moves through the system.

You’ll learn what appears when accessing the application, how the provider dashboard summarizes appointments and outstanding work, and how scheduling and availability are organized. Understanding the Provider Dashboard


Provider dashboard

The provider dashboard is the central summary view for day-to-day activity. It highlights what requires attention and provides quick visibility into scheduling and documentation status.

  • Upcoming Appointments – scheduled visits for the selected day
  • Incomplete SOAP Summaries – encounters that still require documentation
  • Appointment Requests – pending requests awaiting action
  • Daily Timeline and Monthly Calendar – scheduling views for time slots and monthly planning

Opening the Calendar View


Calendar view

The calendar view is the monthly scheduling hub. It provides a broader planning view of appointments and availability and supports locating scheduled visits quickly.

  • Navigate by month
  • Search by patient name
  • Toggle visibility of default hours, adjusted schedules, vacations, and appointments

SOAP Notes

The SOAP Notes area is where encounter documentation is completed and reviewed. It supports capturing clinical details for appointments and helps ensure outstanding documentation is tracked and completed.
